Bali wedding photography unfolds a love story in bali almost everyday. When we started wedding planning, we knew that we wanted a much more intimate affair and so we decided to have it abroad. Bali was an easy choice because we fell in love with the charming island. We wanted an outdoor wedding to take advantage of Bali’s beautiful weather and took it to the next level by having it cliffside. We wanted to give guests an unexpected Balinese experience that would leave them breath taken.
Our friends and family members traveled to experience a ‘wedliday’ as they coined it… a combination of a wedding and of course holiday that they will never forget! Naturally a destination wedding was in order, and 80 guests flew in from all over the world to the secluded La Joya Villas. “Having to take them away from their usual daily routine is one thing, but it would be a refreshing break for everyone to have a platform to freely interact. The only way is to house them in a villa like La Joya Villas that would really act like a home where we can all sit down at one table & enjoy each other’s company” They start the big day with breakfast and gorgeous seaview of bali with bali wedding photography snapping the photos of their joy
We kept our vows very real, personal and funny and we think that the guests appreciated this because they were able to relate to some of the things that we shared.
It’s time for wedding makeup. I love the confidence that makeup gives me through the finger of makeup artist.
It is very important for our guests to stay hydrated throughout the ceremony, cool juices is the best way to do so!!
The colour scheme was a portrayal of subtle elegance blue and the pureness of white. I loved that it went with the natural landscape, the glorious sunset and even my wedding dress. The first was a sunset ceremony where we exchanged vows on a high cliff perched over the Balangan beach. Perfect shade of blue as backdrop, that of the clear sky and the Ocean. Nothing could be more perfect. an intimate. This whole ceremony setup… A dream!
We conduct the wedding sand ceremony that expresses the coming together of two people or two families into one new family. Bride and groom has different colored sand and takes turns pouring it into one clear vessel, forming a layered effect.
Now it’s time for bouquet toss. The tossing of the bridal bouquet is a custom that roots in England and was believed to be a way for the bride to pass along her good fortune to others. Are you ready girls?
Of course the big day had to be as fun as it was beautiful. We provide book and cute colour stamp and pen for guests to leave notes about their fave memories, and set up a photobooth that printed two instant prints, one for guests to keep and one for them to leave in place of the family tree. Cool!
Now it’s time for first dance. Dance continues to be a visual representation of the exchange of vows, now it is also symbolic of the couple’s acceptance of each other as equal partners and the beginning of their new life together as one.
The vision of twinkling lantern at the dinner reception made us feel like we were dining under a million stars The ambience put people in such a genuinely good mood, we were so happy to sweep them off their feet even if only for one night – that’s what made it so special to us. The speeches from our loved ones really made the occasion intimate and heartfelt. Everyone had a tear in his or her eye at some point during the day. Looking at the photos truly transport us back to that night. From the simple, all-white setup adorned purely with baby’s breath for the ceremony, to the mood of lantern light that enveloped the guests during the dinner reception – all we wanted to create a day that they would never forget and make our wedding as magical for them as it was for us.
After grand entrance to wedding venue using blue scooter, now we want to make dramatic entrance to dinner venue with wedding sparkles on the guest hands. We ask everybody to create aisle of sparkler a long way to dinner venue and make spectacular pictures as we walk and dance through them. Must be dramatic bali wedding photography.
We want to close this big day with fly the flying lantern in to the sky, symbolizing good luck and prosperity. Watching our dream for the future take flight on our wedding night.
This deep symbolism is particularly appropriate for weddings since the newlyweds leave behind their individual courses in life to embark on a single journey together. Whether you choose to light one lantern as a couple or dozens, the thought-provoking beauty of the moment will live forever in the hearts and minds of everyone in attendance.
Destinations weddings allow for a true adventure where everyone finds a common ground, a new love for each other. I have never seen our families and friends closer. I would recommend a destination wedding to everyone!
Magnificent sunshine, pure blue sky, exquisite villas overlooking the turquoise ocean – it is easy to figure out why Bali has become a favourite wedding destination
