Family Photography · Bali
Relaxed, natural photo sessions for families on holiday in Bali. No stiff poses — just your family being yourselves, in the most beautiful place on earth.
Why Families Choose Us
You've planned this Bali holiday for months. Everyone is here together — kids, parents, maybe grandparents too. And at the end of the trip, all you'll have is a camera roll full of blurry phone shots and squinting selfies.
A two-hour session on a Bali beach or in the rice terraces changes that completely. We work at your family's pace, we're experienced with children of every age, and we keep the atmosphere loose enough that you forget the camera exists.
The result: real photographs of your whole family together in Bali — the kind you actually frame and put on the wall.
Where We Shoot
We match your family's energy to the right spot — beach, rice field, temple, or villa. Here are our most popular choices.
Who We Photograph
No two family sessions look the same — and that's exactly as it should be.
Parents and kids on a Bali holiday — the classic setup. Usually 1–2 hours at a beach or villa at golden hour.
Three generations together is rare. We help grandparents, parents, and grandkids all feel natural and relaxed in front of the camera.
Birthdays, anniversaries, reunions in Bali — any trip worth celebrating is worth photographing properly.
Single parents deserve to be in the photos too — not just behind the phone. We make it easy and fun for everyone.
Best friends on a Bali trip. Vacation photography isn't just for families — group sessions are one of our favourites.
New parents visiting Bali with a baby, or expecting couples wanting a maternity session in paradise.

What Families Say
We had no idea what to expect. Within five minutes the kids were running on the beach and Putu was just capturing everything. The photos look like a film. We have them framed in our hallway now.
We're not photo people at all, but our kids convinced us to book a session. Putu was incredibly patient and got us all laughing naturally. The shots at Tanah Lot at sunset are the best photos we've ever had as a family.
Before Your Session
A few simple things that make a big difference — especially when children are involved.
For families with young children, book the session after the morning nap — happy, rested kids make for much better photos than tired, grumpy ones.
Identical outfits look dated. Choose a colour palette — neutrals and soft blues photograph beautifully against Bali's greens and golds — and let each person express their style within it.
The hour before sunset gives Bali its signature warm glow. Kids also tend to be more relaxed and happy at this time of day than in the harsh midday heat.
Some of the best family photos come when children are just doing what children do — running, giggling, exploring. We follow their energy, not the other way around.
Don't build it up too much with the kids. Tell them you're going to the beach. Relaxed parents equal relaxed children equal beautiful photographs.
Common Questions
We recommend booking 2–4 weeks before your trip to lock in your preferred date, time, and location. During peak holiday seasons (school holidays, July–August, December), dates fill up quickly — so earlier is better. If you're already in Bali, contact us and we'll check last-minute availability.
Golden hour — the 60–90 minutes before sunset — gives the best light for beach sessions. For families with babies or toddlers, a morning session (around 8–10am) also works beautifully, before the heat builds and before the little ones get tired.
This is the most common concern — and one of the things we're most experienced with. We never force poses, we keep things playful, and we work entirely at the pace of the youngest family member. Some of the most treasured family photos come from natural, unposed moments where kids are just being themselves.
Yes — villa sessions are a wonderful option, especially for families with very young children who don't want to travel far. Bali's private villas with pools, tropical gardens, and open pavilions create a naturally beautiful setting and a relaxed, familiar atmosphere for the kids.
We've photographed everything from a couple with a newborn to three-generation groups of 25 or more. For larger groups, we recommend the half-day or full-day package to allow time for different combinations and individual groupings within the family.
Yes — full print rights are included with every package. You can print, share, and post your images however you like. The private gallery includes high-resolution downloads sized for both screen and professional printing up to large format.
